Glad youre starting to see the forest for the trees my friend. You have to keep something in mind when it comes to  studying how to trade. They say "You Need An Edge" and to be honest thats only part of the master plan you need to have for yourself when "finding your edge" or building strategies.
Notice how i pluralized "Strategy"

You CANT JUST HAVE ONE STRATEGY. You need to have multiple.
Understand them.
Understand when to use them.
Understand when NOT to use them.
Understand when the market presents itself that you DONT have a strategy to use on this particular type of market.
When you need the aid of an indicator and which one is needed for that particular market.
Once you understand that last one (Above this) you need to know when to turn ur indicator ON or OFF.

even this point is key in development:
I had a conversation with someone@[[601:contact:cre80r]]r a number of days ago and he was using a pivot indicator on his chart but noticed that it was not catching the pivots at certain points.
The problem was that he forgot the market is fractal. So he had his pivot indicator set for (7 period) but at certain points it does no good and needs to be set to (3 period)

In other words there are times when you need to adjust your indicator settings to help confirm what you are looking for.

All of this should go into your analysis every single day and every single time you look at your charts to get setup.
Honestly when im trading long enough to run through London and NY session, wipe everything off my charts 3 times as the market moves forward.

Right now I'm trying to find a new broker and thinking about diving into futures. Can't wait till I can see some real profits from trading. Working a 13/15 hour job leaves very lil time to study and analyze the charts.

Well here we go.....sometimes i hate telling this story...only because of the stigma that comes with it...but i know its apart of me and my journey. I learned while incarcerated. I served 11 years. Iv only been released for about 3 years now. About 3 years priors to my release i was introduced and learned about the markets by hand. Meaning i drew everything on graph paper with pencils and did all the calculations for indicators by calculator. I was so drawn to the thought of my money marking me money. It seem to be the end of all my worries. I was only paper trading then lol. I get released and find out that it was way way way more to learn....I did as much research as i could and lost as much as i could stand to lose. I'm so far down i cant give up at this point. But i will say i have seen some pretty good returns per my standards here and there. During my journey I came across CoffeeShopCrypto....Teaching stuff that i just couldn't believe I was then just getting to know of. So now I have learned that the market has a lot to teach us about ourselves, and you will only be prosperous if you can hone in on being discipline. So here i am....goin where my journey has led me so far. Right here in the Coffee Shop.
